Celiac Group at Plimouth Plantation

Do you love a gluten-free dish at a particular restaurant? Let us know! We'll pass it along, it'll help other celiacs and the restaurant! So who's going to be there? Pizzeria Uno will be there with their gluten-free pizzas. Against the Grain Bakery will be there with bagels and rolls. Kettle Cuisine Soups, Food Should Taste Good Chips, Willoughby Farms Muffins, and PestoFresco Pestos and Tapanades are coming too. Little Bay Baking will be there debuting (World Premiere!) their new burger bun (I tried it, it's great!) and sampling treats made with their gluten, casein, soy, yeast, and corn-free mixes. Heather from Diamond Baking is bringing her spectacular brownies, cookies and lemon squares. Depot St. Market will be showing off their great gluten-free meals-on-the-go. Our friends from the Cornerstone Cafe will be serving up the food that has made them a favorite with the local celiacs.

Come visit us at Plimouth Plantation from 2-5pm Sunday September 20th!!!

Labor Day wedding cake

This one is red velvet with cream cheese frosting as a filling and vanilla buttercream on the outside. Decorated with flowers provided by the florist along with a small blue decoration piped in buttercream. Rumor had it that it was consumed by all with rave reviews! Even the reception hall was impressed with it. YAY!

Dedicated gluten free facility!

I guess this video shows you the important of keeping a dedicated gluten free kitchen. We stress the importance at our kitchen and do not bring any wheat flour or wheat products into the kitchen. It's not always easy, but we stick to our guns. We want to ensure our customers a safe environment for their baked goods. So have no fear because we don't make anything with gluten in our kitchen.

This makes us sad!

So we all know we've had a cold and wet summer. Well, it has wreaked havoc on our local vegetable crop! It makes us sad to think that the weather hurt our poor farmers! This is not good. I guess we can say let's hope for a better less wet summer next year to help them out!!!

We were happy to be able to use local strawberries, carrots, zucchini, blueberries and raspberries in our gluten free baked goods though. We definitely support our farmers!
